Moët Day Party

Saturday June 17th is International Moët Day and Blackbird has been selected as the one and only official Queensland destination for the celebratory day known as Moët Party Day! As the globe gets champagne giddy with excitement, they're going to make it pop with an enormous Moët & Chandon activation so you can clink, fizz & cheers to what is quite possibly the most amazingly appropriate appreciation day that has come about!

Join Blackbird from 4pm for an afternoon of bubbles, beats & charcuterie with Moët Day specials, guest DJ AK and riverside flare.

Crafty Salisbury Festival

Nestled away in the heart of Salisbury is one of Brisbane's newest breweries- Ballistic Beer Co.To celebrate the release of their winter seasonal beer,  they are hosting Crafty Salisbury. This event will be held on Saturday the 17th of June between 1pm and 5pm at 53-55 McCarthy Road, Salisbury.

Creaft Salisbury, put simply, is a festival of all things 'craft' and 'Salisbury.' Lose yourself amongst local food and craft stalls. Plus, sample some of their award-winning ales.

It is sure to be a great day out for the family and beer lovers alike.

Sunnybank $2 Food Trail

Foodies, rejoice! The Sunnybank $2 Food Trail is back this Saturday 17th June between 2pm and 8pm.

Gather up those gold coins, grab your nearest and dearest, and take your taste buds on a self-guided Asian foodie adventure. Explore and sample a huge array of authentic $2 tasting plates from 40+ local restaurants and vendors at Sunnybank Plaza and Sunny Park.

Graze on a mouth-watering range of authentic Asian winter dishes on offer; including Chinese, Japanese, Hong Kong Style, Vietnamese, Taiwanese and more!

Think steaming noodle soups, spicy BBQ stir-fry’s, delicious deep fried dim sum and more from all your favourite Asian foodie outlets, plus some brand new ones set to make their $2 Food Trail debut.

As always, there will also be loads of live music and entertainment throughout the trail; with 30+ talented local musicians, plus traditional roaming lion dancers and an all new Kids Zone with free activities for the little ones including giant board games, colouring-in, face painting & more.

Winter Solstice Festival

Come Celebrate Nature’s Abundance at the annual Winter Solstice Festival on Saturday June 17th 2017! Featuring a Fire Show, Solstice Ceremony, Lantern Parade and Bonfire, this event is great for the whole family.

Live music will begin at 2pm, providing the perfect beat for the evening. The lineup includes Mr Darren Percival of Woodford and The Voice fame, plus Wild Marmalade and their unique combo of didge, drums and guitar.

There'll also be Sustainable Living educational workshops for adults, as well as activities for the teens and kids.

Brisbane Yoga Day Festival

You're Invited to Australia's biggest, fastest growing yoga party!

Join the celebrations for the United Nations International Day of Yoga at the Brisbane Yoga Day Festival on Sunday June 18th 2017. This community event features fun and flowing yoga asana classes, tribal yoga dance fusion, deep relaxation, yoga breathing, kid’s games and activities, live music and kirtan (yoga chant), trance dance, yoga wisdom talks and deep peace meditation. Bark and Brews

Have you ever wanted to go to a puppy party? Well this Sunday June 18th 2017, you can! Bring your hound down to the Brightside Brisbane (27 Warner Street, Fortitude Valley) from 12pm and enjoy a relaxed Sunday out with a stack of other pooch lovers. Some things to look forward to include a free doggie photo booth, the pooch and owner lookalike competition, the giant beer garden, and free entry!
