The Courtyard Wine and Cheese Trail

Welcome in the weekend with a wine & cheese trail in the comfort of The Courtyard at Treasury Hotel. Spend the evening of Friday June 9th 2017 taking your own journey of taste as the courtyard's stunning surrounds host some of Treasury's favourite vineyards & dairies. Join Penfolds, Wynns, Wolf Blass, Cape Mentelle, Catalina Sounds, Shottesbrooke, Cloudy Bay, Domaine Chandon and a selection of Australia's finests cheese as they showcase some of their top varieties and vintages.

Cost: $45 per person
Inclusions: 3 hours of wine tasting and cheese sampling

Little Miss Kay's Grand Opening

Little Miss Kay's Woolloongabba is opening this Saturday June 10 2017! To celebrate, their cheeseburgers will be $5 all day between 10:30am and 9:30pm!

West End Full Moon Fire Festival

WEFF as its locally known is held every Full Moon in Orleigh Park. This event was created in 2006 to share the flow arts and create a community night filled with music, arts and magic.

The Firetribe welcomes you this very extraordinary gathering. This special place is where you can meet new friends or catch up with old friends right in the heart of Brisbane. Share and learn new techniques under the glow of the full moon. Discover and create endless possibilities with this friendly community.

Families and spectators are welcome. Come lay down a matt and grab a snack to nibble on. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show. This is a free night of entertainment with a fire spinning circle, tasty electronic music and a terrestrial drumming circle.

World Gin Day

Listen up gin lovers of Brisbane! The day we can all express our love & devotion for the spirit affectionately known as “adult vodka” is almost here again. Yes, it’s World Gin Day!

On Saturday June 10 2017, this event will feature five masterclasses, live entertainment, pop-up stations, gin specials and massive giveaways - does a whole bottle of gin every hour whet your appetite?! - what more could a gin lover want? With experts from Martin Millers, Fever Tree, Botanist, Gin Mare, Jinzu, Tanqueray, Kangaroo Island Spirits and even Brisbane’s very own Humpybong Distillery on hand to answer ever gin nerd’s questions, it’s a pilgrimage where everybody ends up in heaven!

Masterclass times
11.30am - The history of gin w/ Kangaroo Island Spirits
1.00pm - Enjoying food & gin together w/ Jinzu
2.30pm - Making gin cocktails w/ Botanist & Gin Mare
4.00pm - Pairing tonic to your favourite gin w/ Fever Tree
5.30pm - Sensory spices & basket distillation w/ Martin Millers

Game of Rhones

The celebration of the great grape varieties of the Rhone Valley returns for a fourth season this Sunday June 11th 2017. Over 100 different wines will be available to taste, from Grenache and Shiraz to Mourvèdre (plus the odd white) from Australia, New Zealand and beyond.

Tickets include the epic Plumm Vintage red wine glass which is yours to taste from and take home with you after the event. Plus, it includes all wine tastes.

Now, you can’t live on wine alone so you can count on all the foods from charred meats, to cheese, small goods and more.
