Marvel: Creating the Cinematic Universe
Be the first to experience the Gallery of Modern Art’s Marvel exhibition this weekend. This exhibition will let you follow Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, the Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and their allies and adversaries from the pages of Marvel Comics to their big-screen incarnations.

Immerse yourself in self-awareness and inner peace at the Wanderlust 108 Mindful Triathlon on Saturday May 27th 2017. This triathlon begins with a 5km done your way. Walk, run, prance, skip, stroll or strut to the finish line. At the second marker is 75 minutes of DJ-powered yoga that will get you in the mood to flow. To complete the Mindful Triathlon, bliss out in a group meditation session to clear your mind and relax your body.

West End Film Festival
The West End Film Festival (WEFF) is an Australian short film competition held in the vibrant community of West End. WEFF was established in 2009 by a group of local filmmakers focused on support grassroots Australian filmmakers. This year, the festival will be held between 27 and 28 May 2017.

Climb for Cancer
On Sunday May 28 2017, take your desire to help people with cancer to new level, as part of the 2017 Climb for Cancer.
Climb for Cancer Australia is Brisbane’s original stair climb that raises money for cancer at Mater. Not only will you conquer 810 stairs and be rewarded with picturesque rooftop views over the river city, but you’ll also be helping the one in two Aussies who are diagnosed with cancer, by giving them a better chance of beating it.

Celebrate the best of Queensland and share in the excitement of Origin 2017 at the Maroon Festival held between Sunday May 28 2017 and Wednesday May 31 2017 from 10am daily at the South Bank Cultural Forecourt. The festival will host free, family-friendly activities including the River Parade, Holden State of Origin Live Site, Locker Room, Tastes of QLD Food Stalls, Legends Walk and Health and Wellness Green.
