Free Nail Art at Uniqlo

To celebrate their 1 year anniversary, Uniqlo is bringing you a specially curated collection of Brisbane’s finest products and events. So grab the girls this Friday May 12th between 4pm and 7pm, head to Uniqlo in Brisbane City and get weekend ready with the ultimate nail art bar. Aussie brand Kester Black will be showcased with some of Queensland’s finest nail artists from Adore Dolls Parlour working their magic.

The Rocks Twilight Social

Finish the working week with a bang and let Rocks Riverside Markets take care of the food, fun and entertainment. Held at Rocks Riverside Park, Seventeen Mile Rocks, on Friday May 12th from 4pm to 9pm, the Rocks Twilight Social will feature plenty of food trucks and stalls that will have everyone’s tastebuds tingling. Local businesses will also be on display in the lifestyle stall section.

Melbourne International Comedy Roadshow

Buckle up Brisbane! The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is back on the bus, hitting the road to deliver the funniest from Australia’s largest comedy festival and they’ll be making a stop at the Brisbane Powerhouse between May 10th and 13th.

With an all-killer cast of Australian stars, talented newcomers and international performers, this event will have all your comedy bases covered. Featuring everything from stand-up to sketch, slapstick to song, each line-up presents the best of the festival in one-hilarious show.

Find the freshest flowers in Brisbane at the Brisbane Flower Market, located at the Brisbane Markets site on Sherwood Road, Rocklea. Housing flower wholesalers that sell a full range of seasonal flowers, you'll be sure to find something perfect for your mum. Flowers are sourced directly from local and international growers and there’s no doubt that you will find the greatest range of fresh-cut and made-up seasonal flowers.  We recommend you pick up your flowers for Mother’s Day on Saturday between 6am and 12noon, however the market is also open Monday to Friday between 6am and 2pm.

Fish Lane Festival

Fish Lane Festival is bringing together the who’s who of the local music, foodie and bar community so you can dine, drink & dance the day away in South Brisbane’s most iconic laneway!

This Saturday May 13th between 12noon and 10pm, explore Fish Lane and enjoy delicious dishes, gourmet eats and premium pop-up bars from some of the neighbourhoods most loved restaurants, bars and cafes, while you get down to some of Brisbane's best local bands and DJs!

Entry to Fish Lane Festival is free. Minors are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Strictly no BYO Alcohol permitted.

Brisbane Vegan Markets

The Brisbane Vegan Markets are back again this Sunday May 14th, 9am - 3pm. Making an appearance every second Sunday of each month, these markets feature delicious vegan food, cruelty-free cosmetics, live music and clothing stalls.  Some of the stalls popping up this weekend include Gozleme Universe, Sri Lankan Pepper Pot Curry, Tatty’s Superfoods, I Love Paella, Flour of Life Bakery and Seko Foods. Find the markets on the corner of Russell Street and Boundary Street in West End.

Mother’s Day in the Park

Looking for a way to celebrate Mother’s Day this Sunday May 14th? Head over to the Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens to relax on a picnic rug, stroll through the gardens, munch on something tasty from the food trucks and listen to live music between 12pm and 3pm.

The Boss Baby at Events Cinemas Browns Plains

DreamWorks Animation and the director of Madagascar invite you to meet an unusual baby in the comedy The Boss Baby. He wears a suit, speaks with the voice of a corporate executive and his parents s parents think he is a wonderful new addition to the family. But his older brother sees him for whom he really is…a baby on a secret mission. Take the family out to see The Boss Baby at Events Cinemas Browns Plains for just $6 per ticket on Saturday May 13th or Sunday May 14th 2017.
