Food brings people together and is comforting through the good and the bad. Although we sometimes take it for granted, I think we can all take pleasure in honouring food and all the joy it brings to us. To celebrate food, Citi has hosted Good Food Month for the 9th year in a row and is taking over July in the best way possible. It is a wonderful way to commend Australia’s finest food, restaurants and chefs.
There are so many places to get your hands on delicious food this Good Food Month. There is the Night Noodle Market running from the 19th to the 30th of July, Hat Swap at Gerard’s Bistro on the 27th of July and The Laneway which is on Friday the 28th of July from 6pm-10pm. To find out about more events or to book tickets, head to the Good Food Month website.
A Brisbane restaurant worth mentioning is Stokehouse Q who were awarded 86th on the Top 100 Restaurant presented by Quantas and Australian Financial Review. It is a well deserved award for Stokehouse. The view of the Brisbane river and the layout of the restaurant combined with their exquisite food, there is no wonder why they made the Top 100 list. If you are after a luxurious fine dining experience, enjoy an evening at Stokehouse.
Good Food Month only happens once a year so make the most of it and get eating!
