Fit Out8

Prepare your bodies and feast your eyes on Caxton Street's newest addition, Fritzenberger. Taking the spot of long-term club Casablanca, the venue overlooks the pub-lit street from the top of Caxton and welcomes visitors with a classy, polished fit out.

Fritzenberger is the brainchild of Steve Minon and Matthew Bailey (Nitrogenie and Harajuku Gyoza), resulting in selling over 800 burgers in their first day. It's a burger joint with a twist, a major focus being the frites (fries)... and of course you can't have frites without burgers and beers.

You can season the classic Frites with a wide selection of salts. How does Vegemite salt sound? Or what about Twisties salt? Yes, you read that correctly! Both are a must-try. The Loaded Frites come with cheese sauce, candied bacon, green onions, Fritzensauce and Twisties salt.

When it comes to buns there are six great classic burgers to choose from and at student-friendly prices. The Chicken Burger is a Black Book go-to with it's southern-fried, free range chicken thigh fillet, hydroponic lettuce, organic tomato and spicy mayo - basic at it's best!

Generously providing for the sweet tooth, Fritzenberger even offers an Ice Cream Burger; a sweet, milk bun with a choc ice cream patty, strawberries, raspberry ketchup and custard. Throw some Sugar Frites (cinnamon sugared churro-style frites with raspberry ketchup, hot chocolate sauce or toffee sauce) on the side and it's your wildest dreams come true.

Behind the bar the Fritzenberger staff are pouring the venue's very own beer. From pale ales and IPAs to crisp cider, the tap's got it covered. The bar is also serving some great bottled drinks including their Pirate Life Stout which boasts over %7 alc. and a smooth, chocolaty palate.

Great addition to Caxton Street's artisan brewers and burger creatives. Perfect for Friday afternoon knock-offs.
