The BrisAsia festival is widely considered to be the peak of Brisbane’s cultural calendar, celebrating the strong influences and impact that Asia has on our amazing city!
Running for three weeks (5th-28th Feb) BrisAsia boasts an array of over 49 events across 41 suburbs varying from food events, live shows, hands-on workshops and art exhibitions showing the best of Asia’s contemporary art and music scene.
Now of course us here at Blackbook are slightly bias toward the food events, so make sure you check out the ‘Taste of Asia’ event on Friday, 19th Feb. There’s nothing we love more than authentic Asian dishes, and I think it’s safe to say this is where you’re gonna find it!
Other events include the ‘Weaving of our Hertitage” on from the 7th to the 21st, and Yumchat, which will be held on Sunday the 21st.
Don’t miss out on any of these exciting events by keeping yourself updated via the Brisbane City Council’s website!
