Giving all new meaning to breakfast in bed.
What is better than ordering room service whilst you stay in a luxury apartment? How about room service provided by one of Brisbane’s most sought after restaurants; Delfina’s Bistro.
We’re very excited about joining forces with the Alex Perry Hotel & Apartments team
That’s what you can expect plus more with the newly announced partnership of Delfina’s Bistro and Alex Perry Hotel & Apartments. Named after Kellie-Ann's (Managing Director) grandmother, the family run, fine dining restaurant will be moving across the street from the Emporium complex to the Alex Perry apartment building.
Set to take full flight by the end of July, the union of the two brands celebrates their mutual ethos to provide a unique, luxurious experience to their guests whilst maintaining their welcoming and relaxed feel.
The pairing of businesses works seamlessly with both aiming to provide guests with the comfortable fine dining that Delfina’s is renowned for in a relaxing environment described as a ‘home away from home’.
Many guests are travelling away from home and family, sometimes staying for extended periods
Kelly adds that these same people travelling for work often dine at Delfina’s, noting their interaction with other individual diners and the rapport that is built between them because of this. She mentions this to be a large underpinning of the ideology behind Delfina’s; to provide service in a welcoming homely environment, encouraging interaction and the sharing of great food with others.
This in mind the collaboration of the two and their maxims aims to flow all the way through to the design of the kitchen, it’s layout and further the guest rooms in the hotel.
The kitchen is said to be open-planned with a continuous cooking and dining area allowing guests the option to either sit separately, with other diners or even directly next to the Chef’s preparing the meals.
Whilst guests do have the option to dine in the restaurant, as part of the inimitable experience the brands aim to deliver, they can also design their own “mini bar”/ room service option from the Delfina’s menu; providing them with the ability to eat delicious, good quality food in company or enjoy it in solitude.
The idea of relaxed homely living in a luxurious apartment is extended right to the little things in each room with the underpinning thought of providing guests with items that are often forgotten when packing. Each room is equipped standard with high quality personal grooming devices such as GHD hair straighteners, satellite television entertainment as well as other technological facilities to allow guests to play their own media should they wish. In addition, all guests have exclusive access to the hotel gym and rooftop pool boasting exquisite city views and are completely inaccessible and not hireable to the general public.
The collaboration will see a growth in Delfina’s Bistro staff and likely change to their already diverse, modern Australian menu says head chef; drawing inspiration from cuisines and cooking methods around the world with the added Delfina’s Bistro touch.
Whilst the two brands pair perfectly and aim to deliver an unmatchable service to their guests, loyal Delfina’s Diners need not fear as they will be operating as usual, continuing service to the general public and upholding their “local’s specials” evenings and regular events.
